The arrest was for Domestic Violence, with the “alleged victim” being on my side. No injuries of any kind. Because of this, I felt my case was very weak but with now being in the hands of the system, I wasn’t willing to gamble with my life. I did some research and ultimately retained Veronica and her team for their services. I have no regrets about that decision. She moved very quickly with her approach. The price was fair based on my research, and her method was proactive and preventative. She requested a few things from me in order to build a “Do Not File” packet to be sent to the DA, and that is the exact result that was achieved. My case was rejected by the DA and I was able to continue on with my life with this absurd event put behind me. Most communication was through text, which was actually my preference. The circumstances that led me to even begin my search was so messy, and heartbreaking. After spending hours upon hours reading, researching, and watching Domestic Violence and restraining order videos, what the law says, how to get free legal help, it is all geared towards victims and victims rights, with victim being the operate word. But where do I seek help or information when the one who claims to be the victim is really the abuser. Once again I am left screaming into a black hole where no one cares to listen because my abuser is doing exactly what an abuser does, create fantastical power and control moves where I am the villain.  This time the weapon of choice was to manipulate the court system and lie to the police just because they think they are so untouchable, so entitled. Coming across Veronica’s channel and participating in her course Defeat the DVRO has given me a real, easy to understand strategy that allowed me to look at all the infuriating and annoying legal paperwork in front of me and shift completely, moving away from feeling powerless to being powerful. After a number of unsuccessful attempts to obtain a refund on a broken lodging contract that left me feeling frustrated and powerless, I contacted Veronica T. Barton.  Ms. Barton immediately calmed me, reassured me and provided me a peace of mind that this matter could and would be resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.
